TESTIMONIALS
From September to December of 2000, Matt Plahuta acted as general contractor for my kitchen remodel. This project involved combining two rooms in a 1925 bungalow to create a larger, gourmet kitchen. Remodeling an older home always has its limitations, and in this case there were added restrictions due to the particular space, my detailed design requirements and budget restrictions.
Matt was able to successfully pull together a team to complete the project, set a time frame, and stay within an acceptable budget range. His real skill, however, was in his detailed work and his creative design ideas and solutions. Matt was always interested in making my ideas work, and he continually developed innovative solutions to tricky design problems. He approached the project with an artistic eye and was comfortable developing solutions and shifting course as needed. My vision for the project was often very specific, and Matt took the time to understand what I wanted and find a creative way to make it work.
The end results speak for themselves, and my husband and I continue to be thrilled with the kitchen. The numerous details which Matt took the time to envision and include throughout the project made all the difference in creating the functionality and aesthetics I wanted. I would recommend Matt Plahuta for any project in which artistry, attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, creativity and patience are called for.

As a restaurateur for the past ten years, I have built or remodeled several restaurants in the Denver Metro area. I can attest that no contractor had won my wholehearted approval until I had the opportunity to work with Matt on the remodeling of the old Dragon Palace restaurant, now known as La Chine.
I was surprised and delighted that Mr. Plahuta not only completed the extensive remodeling on time, (under a very tight timetable!) but also stayed within the allotted budget. During the project, Matt consistently demonstrated high quality workmanship, unique problem solving skills, and excellent supervisory controls.
I highly recommend Matt Plahuta for any construction project that requires an artisan's skill as well as a sound sense of business management.
Sincerely yours,
La Chine Gourmet Szechuan
